Tai Po continued to press forward, with Lucas Da Silva coming close and Chan Siu Kwan Philip hitting the woodwork.
The 68th minute saw Tai Po further solidify their position, as Nicholas's precise cross enabled Chan Siu Kwan Philip to complete his brace, pushing the score to 4:1.
Although Lucas Da Silva found the net from a corner, the goal was ruled offside.
In stoppage time, Tai Po added the final flourish with Lee Lok Him's goal from Lee Ka Ho's delivery, sealing a comprehensive 5:1 triumph.
