Hong Kong and Myanmar come together for second International Friendly Match in four days
Hong Kong and Myanmar are set to square off for the second time in four days. The sizzling International Friendly Match will take place in Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday night and kick-off time is set at 20:00.
Despite missing a host of China-based players, as well as other regulars, Hong Kong actually came out on top in the first game against Myanmar, chalking up a convincing 2:0 victory behind closed doors. Sun Ming-him and Law Tsz-chun both found the back of the net in the match and should enter Saturday's fixture with a healthy dose of confidence.
In net, Paulo Da Silva was handed the starting assignment in the first match against Myanmar and it remains to be seen whether local icon Yapp Hung-fai will reclaim the number one starting position on the weekend. Veterans such as Sean Tse, Helio Goncalves and Huang Yang continue to dish out consistent performances on the field and should be in line to start once again.
Up-front, Jahangir Khan was quite lively against Myanmar several days ago and definitely has something to build on. Midfielder Ju Yingzhi has been enjoying a new lease of life under head coach Jorn Andersen and should continue to supply his fellow attackers, such as Sun Ming-him and Alexander Akande, with ammunition to score.
