2020-2021 Jockey Club Futsal League (Div.2) - League Update


Ravia Sports Association took on Kowloon City in Sha Tin Racecourse Sports Ground on Monday evening for a Futsal League – Division 2C matchup. Ravia Sports Association established an early lead in the game and never looked back, eventually beating Kowloon City 5:2 and claiming all three points from the encounter.

Ravia Sports Association hit the ground running and went ahead early in the game. On the 3rd minute, Ho Wing-fai picked up the ball through a teammate’s delivery and blasted it home from the left side, putting Ravia Sports Association in front 1:0.

Ravia Sports Association largely controlled the match tempo afterwards and had another chance to pull further away. On the 18th minute, a Kowloon City player committed a foul inside his own penalty area. The referee duly awarded Ravia Sports Association with a penalty-shot. Cheung Ho-hin assumed the spot-kick duty but fired the ball wide.

Late in the first half, Ravia Sports Association made it 2:0, as Lam Chun-hei buried his fast break opportunity and sent the ball home. Ravia Sports Association enjoyed a two-goal leading entering the interval.  

Ravia Sports Association hit the ground running in the second half and netted another goal. On the 25th minute, Chan Ka-chit picked out Cheung Ho-hin with a smart pass. Cheung pulled the trigger and fired the ball home, making it 3:0 for Ravia Sports Association.

Kowloon City responded and scored back-to-back goals. On the 29th minute, So Kin-shing seized the opportunity and drilled the ball home from the right wing, pulling one back for Kowloon City.

Shortly afterwards, So Kin-shing was at it again, as the Kowloon City player connected with a teammate’s pass and found the back of the net with a clinical finish. Kowloon City was suddenly down by a single goal.

Ravia Sports Association stopped the bleeding and regained control of the game. On the 34th minute, Chan Kin-hang finished off a beautiful Ravia Sports Association passing play and tucked the ball home, making it 4:2 for the team.

Late in the game, Ho Wing-fai added a late goal for Ravia Sports Association and sealed the victory for his side.

At the end, Ravia Sports Association secured a 5:2 victory over Kowloon City on the evening.
