The Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Center will be reopened on 20 February (this Saturday)


Further to the government announcement of relaxing social distancing measures gradually, The Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Center (FTC) will reopen on 20 February 2021. FTC will continue to implement a series of precautionary measures in order to safeguard the health and safety of staff and visitors. The Training Center will comply with the latest guidelines of the government including; that staff involved in the operation of FTC to undergo COVID-19 test once every 14 days, during training a maximum of four people in a team, and each team must maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters apart or be separated by partitions effectively during training; The maximum number of participants (players and referees) allowed on the pitch at any given time must be in accordance with the rules of relevant sport for both training and competitive games.
Moreover when entering the facility, all visitors are required to undergo temperature screening, scan the LeaveHomeSafe App, or register their details such as names, contact, visiting date and time.   All visitors are also required to wear face masks at all times in the premises, except during exercising and shower (only limited shower facilities would be available).  In order to reduce the number of people inside the Training Centre, each student can only be accompanied by one parent/guardian.  Moreover, cleaning and disinfection work around the facility will be increased, in order to maintain a hygienic environment at the Training Center.
