The Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA) confirmed as host for the inaugural FIFA ASEAN Cup™. The tournament will take place from 24 September to 5 October.

The inaugural competition will feature 14 teams, comprising all 11 member associations of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), as well as three guest participants: Hong Kong China, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The tournament has been established to provide national/representative teams with meaningful competitive opportunities within the Men’s International Match Calendar, while strengthening football ties across the region and bringing more international football to fans.

The FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026™ will consist of two divisions. Division 1, which will be hosted by Indonesia, will include Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Division 2 will be hosted by Hong Kong, China and will feature Hong Kong China, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Timor-Leste.

Each division will be split into two groups and played in a single-round-robin format. The winners of each group will advance to their respective finals to compete for the title, while the runners-up in Division 1 will contest a third-place play-off.

Ticketing details for matches hosted in Hong Kong, China will be announced in due course.
