In the 14th week of the Jockey Club Women’s First Division Football League, second-placed Kitchee, trailing the leaders by just one point, hosted top-of-the-table TSL at Tsing Yi Northeast Playground on Saturday evening. After a hard-fought battle, the two sides settled for a 2–2 draw.

Both teams started aggressively, with Kitchee applying early pressure and creating several chances, though their shots sailed high. FUNG SHARON and LEUNG HONG KIU ANKE combined down the left flank, and in the 10th minute, LEUNG HONG KIU ANKE fired a close-range effort that was comfortably held by the goalkeeper. The intense pace continued, and a minute later, CHAN YEE HING won the ball in midfield and played it to the edge of the box, but BANDOJA ISABELLA MARIE arrived just too late to get a shot away.

Shortly after, Kitchee’s star player CHEUNG WAI KI broke the deadlock. She received a cutback from HO MUI MEI, who was through on the right, and unleashed a powerful strike from just outside the penalty area to give Kitchee a 1–0 lead.  TSL responded almost immediately, equalizing just three minutes later. BANDOJA ISABELLA MARIE intercepted the ball in midfield and found SUNG YASMIN LI MON on the right, who delivered a long cross into the box for LEUNG HONG KIU ANKE to slot home, leveling the score at 1–1. The match continued at a frenetic pace, with both sides exchanging attacks. In the 22nd minute, CHAN TSZ SHAN fouled CHIU PO YAN near the left byline, and Kitchee’s CHUNG PUI KI stepped up to curl the resulting free kick directly into the net, restoring Kitchee’s lead at 2–1. Just two minutes later, TSL struck back again. LEUNG HONG KIU ANKE drove in from the left and played a diagonal pass to SUNG YASMIN LI MON on the right, whose cross found WONG HIU TING in front of goal to head home and make it 2–2, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Despite further chances for both sides, no more goals were scored before halftime, and the teams went into the break level.

In the second half, Kitchee created several early opportunities but failed to convert, while TSL looked dangerous on the counterattack through LEUNG HONG KIU ANKE and BANDOJA ISABELLA MARIE down the left, though they too struggled to break through a resolute defense.

As the match wore on, both sides battled fiercely, with corners and half-chances coming at both ends, but neither could find a winning goal. In the end, this top-of-the-table clash finished 2–2, with each team taking a point.
