Golik North District met up with Eastern at North District Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon (14th February) for the 2025-26 BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League clash. Eastern beat Golik North District by 3:0.
Eastern began the match in explosive fashion, taking the lead just two minutes after kickoff. Yiu Ho Ming delivered a pinpoint cross from the right, and Marcos headed home from close range. In the 9th minute, Bleda tried his luck with a left-footed strike from the edge of the box, but the effort went over the bar. At the 17-minute mark, Eastern doubled their advantage. Despite Navaro from North District appearing to be fouled by Daniel, the referee waved play on, and Yu Okubo finished clinically into the far corner on the counterattack. North District tried to respond, yet both Granada header and Elian long-range effort were denied by goalkeeper Casaro, leaving them two goals down at halftime.
After the interval, North District made attacking changes by bringing on Lo Kwong Wai and Vinicius. At 50 minutes, Vinicius slipped a through pass to Gudula, whose attempt from a tight angle failed to trouble Casaro. Four minutes later, Eastern extended their lead further when Hall cut the ball back for Okubo to slot home unmarked, completing his brace. Despite the three-goal deficit, North District pushed forward, but Lo and Granada’s attempts lacked precision. Late in the game, Eastern’s Yeung Tung-ki was sent off for denying Granada a clear scoring chance, yet even with a man advantage, North District couldn’t find the net. The match ended 3–0, with Eastern snapping their three-game losing streak across all competitions.
