The Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA) will officially launch the 2025/26 season starting this September, with a full lineup of local competitions covering men’s, women’s, youth, and futsal leagues. The new season marks another step forward in promoting the diverse development of football in Hong Kong.

- HKPL U-22 League: 15 September
- Hong Kong Super Youth League: 19 September
- Jockey Club Youth Football League: 3 October
- Men’s First, Second & Third Division Leagues: 7 September
- Jockey Club Futsal First Division League: 4 September
- Jockey Club Futsal Second Division League: 9 September
- Jockey Club Futsal Third Division League: 16 September
- Jockey Club Women’s First, Second & Third Division Leagues: 13 September
- Jockey Club Girls Youth Football League: 23 September
- Jockey Club Women’s Futsal League: November (inaugural edition)
This season brings several new highlights. The Jockey Club Youth Football League will expand to accommodate up to 170 teams, offering more young players the chance to participate in HKFA competitions and strengthening grassroots football development. The Futsal First Division League will increase to 10 teams, enhancing competitiveness and match volume at the highest level of local futsal. The HKPL U-22 League will also grow from 8 to 10 teams, with all HKPL clubs fielding youth squads—providing valuable match experience and supporting youth development.
The Women’s Futsal League will be held for the first time this season, initially accepting no more than 10 teams. The aim is to build a solid foundation for women’s futsal and support its long-term growth, injecting new energy into the women’s game.
For Cup Competitions. All cup matches will follow a single-round format, with draws already completed. For detailed draw results and match schedules, please refer to the attachment.

New Competition: League Cup – First Round:

Note: The League Cup will have no restriction on the number of foreign players, aiming to enhance the entertainment value of the matches. Some fixtures will also be scheduled during FIFA international match windows, allowing local fans to enjoy domestic football even during those periods.
In addition to local competitions, the Hong Kong, China Representative Team (HKRT) will take part in several key fixtures in the second half of the year. On 4 and 7 September, the team will compete in the King’s Cup. On 9 October, Hong Kong will travel to Bangladesh for the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers Round 3 at Bashundhara Kings Arena, followed by a home match against the same opponent on 14 October at Kai Tak Sports Park. On 18 November, Hong Kong will host Singapore in another crucial qualifier.
