Kitchee hit the ground running, drawing first blood as early as the 18th minute. Walter Junior deftly maneuvered an exquisite pass, setting up Mikael Burkatt for a lethal strike into the penalty box. Mikael Burkatt kept his cool and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper, giving Kitchee an early 1:0 lead.
Mikael Burkatt was back in action just four minutes later, doubling Kitchee's lead. Yibulayimu Kuerban player launched a long-range cross from the right into the penalty box, where Mikael Burkatt headed the ball into the far post for a 2:0 advantage.

Despite being reduced to 10 men due to an injury to Ruslan Mingazov, Kitchee displayed their prowess by netting another goal in the 88th minute. Shinichi Chan unleashed a ferocious right-footed shot after cutting inside from left straight into the net.
When the dust settled, Kitchee emerged victorious with a resounding 6:0 triumph over HK U23, pocketing all three points.
