BC Rangers met Lee Man at Mong Kok Stadium on Wednesday evening for the 2023-24 BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League fixture of the day. Lee Man beat BC Rangers by 3:0.

The match kicked off with Lee Man showing early dominance. In the 5th minute, Everton Camargo, following a left-wing cross from Tachibana Ryoya, fired a shot that unfortunately soared above the crossbar.

The game saw BC Rangers' spirited counter-attack in the 9th minute. Chiu Ching Yu Sergio, after latching onto a sleek pass from Kanda Yumemi, made a foray into the penalty area, only to have his shot thwarted by the quick-reflexes of the goalkeeper.

At the 18-minute mark, Lee Man seemingly breached the defense of BC Rangers with Jose Angel turning Everton Camargo's cross from the right into a headed goal. However, upon VAR scrutiny, the goal was nullified due to an offside prior to the goal.

BC Rangers didn't squander their chances either. Kanda Yumemi wriggled free from his marker and unleashed a thunderous left-footed shot within the penalty area, but the goalkeeper parried it away with an outstretched fingertip.

In the 35th minute, Lee Man's Mitchel Paulissen came close to finding the net, but the referee disallowed the goal citing a handball foul.

A breakthrough came a minute later when Lee Man pierced the deadlock. A cross from Everton Camargo on the right found BC Rangers' goalkeeper Chan Kun Sun misjudging the flight of the ball and knocking it onto the crossbar. The ball landed at Henri Anier's feet, who slotted it into the gaping net, edging Lee Man ahead with a 1:0 lead.

Despite a near-miss from Martins Givanilton's shot rebounding off the crossbar before the half-time whistle, Lee Man held onto their slender 1:0 lead at the break.

The second half commenced with Lee Man widening their lead just 8 minutes in. Wong Wai's corner from the right was met by a towering header from Tsui Wang Kit amidst a cluster of players, doubling their advantage to 2:0.

Lee Man maintained their stranglehold on the match with Martins Givanilton missing a golden opportunity in the 57th minute following a long-range pass from Wu Chun Ming.

At the hour mark, Lee Man added another to their tally. Following Everton Camargo's corner from the right, Mitchel Paulissen delivered a cross from the left to the goal mouth, and Simionato Paulo Sergio nodded it home with a diving header, extending Lee Man's lead to a comfortable 3:0.

Later, despite Simionato Paulo Sergio finding himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, he couldn't convert the chance, shooting wide after evading the goalkeeper.

In the 80th minute, despite Lee Man being reduced to 10 men following Li Ngai Hoi's dismissal for a second yellow card offense, it did not alter the trajectory of the game.

Finally, Lee Man held onto their convincing lead until the final whistle, sealing a 3:0 triumph over BC Rangers and securing all three points.
