BC Rangers met up with RCFC in Kowloon Bay Park on Sunday afternoon for the JC Sapling Cup Group B fixture. BC Rangers beat RCFC by 3:2.

The JC Sapling Cup Group B match at Kowloon Bay Park saw a comeback from BC Rangers, who were initially trailing by two goals, to win 3:2 against RCFC and secure all three points. BC Rangers started the game aggressively and went knocking on RCFC’s door in just three minutes. Hayashi Ryota intercepted Cheng King Ho's ball and charged into the penalty area, but his one-on-one shot was blocked by the goalkeeper.

Despite the early setback, RCFC managed to take the lead. In the 5th minute, Moon Chi Sung broke free from the opposition's defense on the left flank and delivered a pass into the penalty area. Lee Ching, left unmarked, found the net and gave RCFC a 1:0 lead.

BC Rangers had their chance soon after, but Lau Chi Lok's shot in front of the goal was saved by the goalkeeper. In the 28th minute, RCFC extended their lead to 2:0. Chiu Wan Chun successfully stole the ball near the edge of the penalty area and fired a powerful shot from a narrow angle on the left, finding the top corner of the net.

BC Rangers, who had created numerous attacking opportunities in the first half, finally pulled one back just before halftime. Lau Chi Lok collected the loose ball at the edge of the penalty area after a clearance from RCFC defender and unleashed a powerful shot into the far corner. RCFC went into halftime with a 2:1 lead.

BC Rangers took control of the game in the second half. Ibrahim had a long-range shot in the 57th minute that missed the target, and later, Kim Minkyu's header from Kanda Yumemi's corner kick went over the crossbar.

It wasn't until the 72nd minute that BC Rangers equalized. Ibrahim unleashed a long-range shot from midfield that flew over the goalkeeper's head and found the net, leveling the score at 2:2. In the 79th minute, BC Rangerss completed a remarkable comeback. Kanda Yumemi's long pass found Jean Jacques Kilama, who chested the ball to Ibrahim, and he fired a powerful shot into the net from inside the penalty area, scoring his second goal after coming on as a substitute. In the end, BC Rangerss secured a 3:2 comeback victory over RCFC and claimed all three points.
