Thanks to a late penalty goal from Lam Hok Hei , HK U23 managed to secure a 1:1 draw with the Hong Kong Football Club, resulting in both teams sharing the spoils.Hong Kong Football Club looked to seize control of the game after the opening whistle. They went knocked on HK U23’s door early when Marcus Mcmillan connected with Jahangir Khan's left cross and headed the ball to Paulo Robspierry. Paulo Robspierry's initial effort was repelled by the goalkeeper, and while his follow-up found the back of the net, it was ruled out for a handball following a VAR review.
It was HK U23’s turn on the 19th minute, but Lee Lok Him's header, off a cross from the left, failed to hit the target.
Johns Dominic put on a spirited display down the right wing for the Hong Kong Football Club in the first half.
