BC Rangers and Sham Shui Po clashed heads at Tsing Yi Sports Ground for the BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League fixture.BC Rangers achieved an remarkable 9:0 victory over Sham Shui Po,thanks to Ibrahim and Lau Chi Lok’s impressive hat-trick.
BC Rangers had an early chance just three minutes into the game, as Lau Chi Lok’s pass released Kim Minkyu into the penalty area,only to see his effort saved by the goalkeeper.Sham Shui Po also had chances to score afterwards but Koike Akihiro and Panupong’s attempts were both missed target.On the 17th minute,Ibrahim picked up a long pass from Lam Ka Wai and fired a shot into the bottom corner,breaking the deadlock and scoring the opening goal of the game.
After just five minutes, Ibrahim sent a lovely through pass to Lau Chi Lok,the latter beat the goalkeeper one-on-one and striked the ball home,making the score 2:0.On the 33rd minute,BC Rangers once again extended their lead with a swift counter,Lau Chi lok’s pass sent Kanda Yumemi into the box,the latter then passed to the unmarked Ibrahim who scored his second goal with ease. In complete control of the game, BC Rangers added another goal on the 39th minute. Yiu Ho Ming delivered a perfectly placed cross from the left wing, and Lau Chi Lok headed the ball into the back of the net, giving Wanderers a commanding 4-0 lead at halftime.
BC Rangers was still enjoying the upper hand in the second half.On the 47th minute,Ibrahim connected with a long pass from teammate and fired a powerful shot inside the box,the ball was pushed away by the goalkeeper and then hit the post.On the 53rd minute,Okamoto Akito received a brillant back-heel pass from Lam Ka Wai and then unleashed a rocket-like strike into the top corner,extending the lead to 5-0.BC Rangers was not done yet and kept pushing forward,Tse Wai Chun delivered a long pass from the right,Ibrahim showed his skills with a great touch and smashed it home,completing his hat-trick.
BC Rangers continued to dominate the game, and scored two more goals in quick succession. On the 74th minute, Kanda Yumemi drilled a stunning free-kick into the top corner and just three minutes later, Lau Chi Lok put his name on the scoreboard the third time in this match by a header assisted by Loong Tsz Hin, BC Rangers was up 8:0.Just before the final whistle,Kanda Yumemi scored his second goal by a spot-kick,helping BC Rangers to secure a a resounding 9:0 victory over Sham Shui Po.
