Tuen Mun came close to opening the score on the 14th minute, as He Ying gave chase to a teammate’s pass, broke behind the BC Rangers defense and fired away, only to be stopped by goalkeeper Leung Hang Yi.

Past the half hour mark, BC Rangers came close to pulling in front, yet Tse Sze Kei’s running shot sailed went narrowly wide. The first half finished 0:0.

Tuen Mun managed to take the lead on eth 80th minute, as Fung Chun Ling’s tremendous solo effort found the back of the BC Rangers net, putting the New Territories side in front 1:0.

However, Tuen Mun’s joy was short-lived as the referee awarded BC Rangers with a penalty-kick on the 84th minute, Cheng Hoi Ying shouldered the spot-kick duty and found the back of the Tuen Mun goal, tying the game for BC Rangers at 1:1.

The score stood all the way towards the final whistle, as Tuen Mun and BC Rangers wrapped things up in a 1:1 draw.
