Lucky Mile held off a stirring late comeback from TSL FC to win 3-2 and lift the Jockey Club Women’s Youth Football League (U15) FA Cup at the Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Centre on Sunday (June 7).

TSL FC threatened first when CHOW PUI KEI struck from the edge of the area, but goalkeeper IPPOLITO EMMA saved comfortably. Lucky Mile replied almost immediately as CHUA SOPHIA burst down the left and shot from a tight angle, only to be denied by goalkeeper CHING YUET. The best opening of the half fell to TSL FC in the 22nd minute, with RAINA TSE CHI WING firing wide from close range after meeting a delivery from the left. Lucky Mile then began to take control and went close on 26 minutes, when KIM HANNAH beat her marker and crossed for HUI HAU YEE, whose first-time effort sailed over. The breakthrough arrived just before the interval. DANIELEE LEUNG LOK YU brought down a long pass, drove into the box from the left and finished from a tight angle to put Lucky Mile 1-0 up at half-time.

TSL FC pushed forward after the restart and nearly levelled when JASMINE KONG’s cross found CHOW PUI KEI, but the close-range attempt drifted narrowly wide. Lucky Mile struck twice in quick succession to seize control. In the 53rd minute, HUI HAU YEE surged through the middle, evaded the challenge and powered a left-footed finish into the net for 2-0. Ten minutes later, JASMINE KONG cut inside from the left and rifled a right-footed drive into the far top corner to make it 3-0. TSL FC refused to fold and set up a frantic finish. In the 71st minute, cheung ching yan met a cut-back and unleashed a 25-yard effort to pull one back, before curling a direct free kick in from the left six minutes later to reduce the deficit to one. Lucky Mile, however, stood firm in the closing stages to seal a 3-2 victory and the U15 FA Cup crown.
