North District asserted their dominance right from the whistle. An energetic TSANG Chun Hin fired two successive efforts over the bar within the opening minute, before Yuen Long’s CHAN Tsz Shun flashed a shot wide at the other end. In the 3rd minute, LO Pak Yin latched onto a cross and unleashed a powerful strike, only to be denied by the Yuen Long custodian.

A minute later, Yuen Long launched a swift counter-attack, but CHAN Tsz Shun’s effort from the right struck the crossbar. LI Wen Keng then met HUNG Kin Yi’s cross from the right with a stinging shot, but failed to beat the keeper.
As the end-to-end battle intensified, Yuen Long tightened their defensive shape midway through the half, effectively neutralizing North District’s threat. With LI Kwok Yip driving the attack down the right, Yuen Long left North District frustrated and struggling to break the deadlock. In the 10th minute, LI Wen Keng spearheaded a counter-attack down the left, picking out YUEN Sai Kit whose subsequent shot was blocked by the keeper.

Two minutes later, North District squandered a golden opportunity to open the scoring when YUEN Sai Kit went clean through on an open goal but uncharacteristically fired wide. Yuen Long responded with a beautifully crafted sequence that set up CHAN Tsz Shun inside the area, but the keeper reacted quickly to smother the close-range effort. CHAN Tsz Shun was denied again just a minute later, failing to beat the keeper from close range following a corner.

North District soon regained control and created a flurry of chances. In the 15th minute,  SIU Sai Chung saw his shot inside the box drift wide, and a minute later, DAI Tsz Hin Marcus’s powerful strike from a tight angle on the left failed to find the back of the net. 

Although Yuen Long’s CHAN Tsz Shun and CHU Ho Lam posed a continuous threat with several close-range efforts, it was North District who finally broke the deadlock right before the interval. A rapid counter-attack found WONG Wai Kwok along the left byline, who lashed it home to give North District a 1:0 lead heading into the break.

North District maintained the upper hand after the restart. TSANG Chun Hin intercepted a loose ball early in the half and drove toward goal, but failed to capitalize. Both TSANG Chun Hin and DAI Tsz Hin Marcus breached Yuen Long's backline shortly after but lacked clinical finishing, while the Yuen Long goalkeeper pulled off a string of fine saves to keep his side in the game. 

Yuen Long enjoyed a brief spell of pressure in the 25th minute through openings created by SY Chun Hin and CHAN Chun Wing, but were caught lacking at the back. Capitalizing on a momentary lapse in the Yuen Long defense, TSANG Chun Hin tapped home from close range to double North District’s advantage.

Showing immense resilience, Yuen Long refused to back down and continued to orchestrate attacking plays. However, their push forward left them vulnerable, and North District exploited the space in the 31st minute with a textbook counter-attack. LI Chun Ting intercepted the ball at the center circle and raced clean through to slot into an empty net, extending the lead to 3:0.

In the 35th minute, Yuen Long’s LI Kwok Yip missed a gilt-edged chance from close range following a corner. Despite Yuen Long tightening their defense to prevent further damage, they could do nothing to stop North District’s relentless firepower.

Just a minute later, TSANG Chun Hin struck again, unleashing a fierce shot from the edge of the area to secure his brace and make it 4-0. Refusing to throw in the towel, Yuen Long launched a wave of late attacks; SY Chu Hin saw consecutive tight-angle efforts from both flanks denied, while CHAN Tsz Shun and LI Wen Keng were also thwarted in front of goal. 
North District held firm to claim a commanding 4:0 clean-sheet victory and walk away with all three points.
