How to use the “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal?

iCal is a standard calendar format which is compatible with most calendar applications in your computer and mobile. By subscribing “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal online, HKFA Fixture will be imported to your e-calendar automatically! (The fixtures will be auto-updated once the matches have been announced)


iOS and Outlook Users

Direct subscription of “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal from device is available for iOS users using the following steps:

  1. Click the red button “iOS/Outlook” in this page.
  2. Click “Subscribe” / “Confirm”. The “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal is added to your device successfully.


Android Users

Direct subscription of “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal from device is available for Android users using the following steps:

  1. Click the red button “Android” in this page.
  2. Click “Yes, add this calendar”. The “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal is added to your device successfully.
  3. “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal in “Calendar” from “Settings” and tap “Done”. The match fixtures will be synchronized to your e-calendar.


Why the newly added match fixtures are not reflected in my device after subscribing “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal?

You can check if the newly added match fixtures have been reflected in your Google calendar by the following steps:

  1. Go to http://google.com/calendar.
  2. Login to Google Calendar with the Google Account used for synchronising the mobile device.
  3. Check whether the new matches are shown. According to Google, it may take up to 8 hours to update your Google Calendar.
  4. If the matches are shown in your Google Calendar but cannot be synchronised to your mobile device, please refer to Google’s sync troubleshooter for more information.


How to unsubscribe iCal?

iOS Users

  1. Go to "Settings"
  2. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
  3. Under "Accounts", select "Subscribed Calendars"
  4. Click on the Subscribed Calendar “HKFA Fixture Express” iCal
  5. Scroll down and click "Delete Account"

Android Users

If you subscribed to the iCal using Google Calendar and then synchronised it to your mobile device according to the steps introduced in our blog article, you may remove it in the Google Calendar and then do the synchronisation with your device again.
