The match burst into life in the 9th minute when Lucas Da Silva orchestrated a dangerous move, threading a precise pass into the danger zone, only to see Chung Wai Keung's powerful right-footed effort expertly parried by the goalkeeper.
BC Rangers thought they had broken the deadlock in the 12th minute as Barak Braunshtain latched onto an inch-perfect long ball and coolly slotted home, but VAR intervention ruled out the strike for offside.
The relentless Tai Po continued their assault, with Patrick Peral delivering a defense-splitting pass in the 18th minute, but Lucas Da Silva's audacious chip sailed agonizingly over the crossbar.
