Kwoon Chung Southern met up with Hong Kong Football Club in Aberdeen Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon for the 2023-24 BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League clash. KC Southern got a 2:1 victory over HKFC.
During the first half, Kwoon Chung Southern managed to maintain a slight upper hand. In the 7th minute, Merkies Raphael charged down the centre, Felix Perez-Doyle's interception resulted in the ball landing at Stefan Pereira's feet, but his shot from narrow angle was easily gathered by the goalkeeper.
The deadlock was broken in the 15th minute when Kwoon Chung Southern seized the lead. A well-executed corner kick from Chan Hoi Pak Paco found Tomas Maronesi, who skillfully headed the ball into the net, giving Kwoon Chung Southern a 1:0 advantage.
