United Citizen hit the ground running and opened the scoring inside six minutes as YEUNG CHING CHI MAVIS unleashed a fierce right-footed drive from the edge of the area. United Citizen went close to doubling the advantage moments later when CHENG CHING YEE HAILEY rose to meet a right-wing corner, only to see the header crash back off the post. The second arrived on 10 minutes: YUNG JADA skipped past their marker down the right, swung in a cross and the ball looped over goalkeeper CHAN HONG KIU into the far corner. TSANG CHIN YUET then got in on the act five minutes later, curling a free-kick from a tight angle straight into the top corner to make it 3-0. United Citizen continued to pour forward and YIP TSZ WING added a fourth in the 23rd minute, driving through the middle, beating two defenders and watching a left-footed effort strike the upright before bouncing over the line.

On the stroke of half-time, YEUNG CHING CHI MAVIS again provided the service from the right and TSANG CHIN YUET bundled home from close range to send United Citizen into the interval 5-0 up. United Citizen kept their foot on the accelerator after the break and made it six on 58 minutes when LIU SIN HUEN SHELBY was felled after surging into the box, with CHAU TSZ YUET stepping up to dispatch the resulting penalty. The floodgates stayed open a minute later as LIU SIN HUEN SHELBY latched onto a delightful pass from CHENG SIU YING, raced clear and finished confidently for 7-0. Another spot-kick followed on 65 minutes and PAO YI CHING duly converted to push the score to 8-0.

CHAU TSZ YUET struck again in the 77th minute to complete their brace, turning in from close range after a goalmouth scramble, before late strikes from CHENG SIU YING and PAO YI CHING rounded off the scoring in an 11-0 thrashing.
