The Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA) announced that the "2024/25 Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards" hosted by the HKFA and co-organized by the Hong Kong Sports Press Association and the Hong Kong Premier League Committee will be open for public voting from 3:00 pm on May 10.

To commend the outstanding performance of the participating clubs and players in this season's BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League (HKPL), HKFA will hold the " Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards" as in the past and hold an awards ceremony on May 28. This year's awards ceremony will be moved to the Hopewell Hotel Wanchai, allowing all football friends to share the joy and review the past season.

HKFA held a press conference at the Football Training Center today to introduce the details of the "2024/25 Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards". This year's election has 18 voting awards, including Footballer of the Year (1), Coach of the Year (1), Best XI (11), Young Players of the Year (2), Fans' Favourite (1) and Player’s Favourite (1). In addition, the Best HKRT Player (1) has been added this year, hoping to encourage the good performance of HKRT players in the past season. Mr. Eric FOK, Chairman of HKFA, said at the press conference: The "Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards' aims to commend the outstanding performance of a group of coaches and players, and to give recognition to those who work hard in the football. I sincerely invite all friends who love football to vote for their favorite candidates and support the coaches and players."

This election has an online voting, which will start at 3 pm on May 10 and end at 11:59 pm on May 25. The voting website will be posted on HKFA's social media platform later.
