In the Jockey Club Women's Youth Football League (U18) match held at Tsing Yi Northeast Park on Tuesday (December 4), United Citizen defeated TSL FC 6:1, securing all three points.

United Citizen quickly took control after kickoff, with LAU NGA CHING KATRINA heading just wide from a right-wing corner in the 4th minute. At the 10-minute mark,United Citizen opened the scoring when WONG TSZ KIU beat her defender on the right wing and crossed to the unmarked CHONG CHING LAM JAYLYNN, who easily slotted home to make it 1:0. United Citizen had another chance in the 20th minute when NG WAI CHING crossed from the left, but YUE ANNABEL LUCY's shot at the far post hit the upright and bounced out.

In the 22nd minute, United Citizen's NG WAI CHING combined with a teammate for a short corner before crossing from the right wing, but LAU NGA CHING KATRINA's header missed the target. In the 27th minute, United Citizen earned a free kick at the edge of the penalty area, with NG WAI CHING's direct shot going just over. Three minutes later, WONG TSZ KIU's header from CHONG CHING LAM JAYLYNN's left-wing cross was collected by goalkeeper LI SZE YAN. United Citizen led TSL FC 1:0 at halftime.

United Citizen maintained control in the second half and scored again in the 50th minute when YUE ANNABEL LUCY's header from a left-wing corner was parried by LI SZE YAN, but CHAU TSZ YUET fired in the rebound from close range to make it 2:0. In the 57th minute, United Citizen created another chance as CHONG CHING LAM JAYLYNN made a direct run down the left wing into the penalty area, but her powerful shot from a tight angle was blocked by the advancing LI SZE YAN. United Citizen scored their third in the 60th minute when LAU NGA CHING KATRINA found YUE ANNABEL LUCY at the far post during a goalmouth scramble, and she shot home with her right foot ahead of the goalkeeper to make it 3:0.

Four minutes later,United  Citizen scored again when WONG TSZ KIU ran onto a through ball into the penalty area, her shot from a tight angle was saved by the goalkeeper, but CHONG CHING LAM JAYLYNN easily converted the rebound for 4:0.

WONG TSZ KIU, who was active throughout the match, continued to create threats, crossing from the left to find the unmarked CHENG SIU YING in front of goal, but the latter's shot went over. Later, WONG TSZ KIU broke through on goal from a teammate's pass but her shot was saved by the goalkeeper. The trailing TSL FC didn't give up, with WAN TSZ YAU's one-on-one chance saved by goalkeeper LI YUET TUNG in the 81st minute, and they finally pulled one back in the 86th minute when SZETO YUEN YING connected with WAN TSZ YAU's pass to score with her left foot in the penalty area, making it 1:4. However, United Citizen responded with another goal a minute later, as WONG TSZ KIU drove into the penalty area from the right wing and passed to the unmarked LIU SIN HUEN SHELBY who scored from close range to make it 5:1, followed by YUE ANNABEL LUCY adding another with a clever shot in stoppage time.

Finally, United Citizen defeated TSL FC 6:1, taking all three points.
