The match kicked off with Kitchee showing their intent early. In the 6th minute, TANG TSZ WAN whipped in a corner from the left flank, with HUNG WING TUNG XYZA's powerful header just clearing the crossbar. Moments later, TANG TSZ WAN tested the keeper with a long-range effort, but HERNANDEZ DIAZ IRIS was equal to it. Lucky Mile tried to weather the storm and mounted a counterattack in the 12th minute. CHENG RILEY MING LO pounced on a loose ball and unleashed a speculative shot from distance, but it failed to trouble the goalkeeper.
