In an exciting encounter in the Jockey Club Women's Football League (2nd Division), Hoi King put on a sterling performance to trounce BC Rangers with a 2:0 victory at the Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Centre Pitch No.4. This impressive showdown earned them third place in this season's league.

Despite BC Rangers' rigorous defense, Hoi King managed to dominate possession from the start. However, they were initially unable to convert this control into scoring opportunities. Their first potent attack came in the 10th minute but Chan Wai Chung's free-kick from the right side narrowly missed the mark. Hoi King's persistent efforts bore fruit in the 14th minute when Chan Wai Chung received a long pass from a teammate and launched a shot in the penalty area. Unfortunately, it was lacking in power and was easily collected by BC Rangers' goalkeeper, Wong Choi Yeung.

Hoi King's Chan Wai Chung found himself with another chance in the 25th minute. She received a pass from her teammate and unleashed a powerful strike from a tight angle in the penalty box, which was expertly saved by the goalkeeper. The deadlock was finally broken in the 30th minute when Hoi King's Chan Wai Chung, who was having an excellent game, received a back pass from Ng Ka Yan. She then fired a shot that sailed into the top corner, propelling Hoi King to a 1:0 lead. BC Rangers rallied and launched their first attack in the 36th minute, but Cheung Ka Yan's long-range effort failed to trouble Hoi King's goalkeeper, Chan Hoi Man.

As the first half neared its close, Hoi King managed to widen the gap. Chan Wai Chung delivered a pass into the penalty area from the right, and Chen Tin Sung skillfully dodged her marker before taking a shot that found the back of the net, giving Hoi King a comfortable 2:0 lead at half-time.

The second half saw Hoi King continue to dominate. Eight minutes in, Ng Nga Wun received a cross from the right and took a shot, only to be denied by the vigilant goalkeeper. Later in the 63rd minute, Hoi King created another scoring opportunity. Yiu On Tai broke free from her marker on the right and sent a cross into the box, but the unmarked Chen Tin Sung was unable to convert the chance.

As the game approached its conclusion, Hoi King's offensive tempo slowed down. Leung Wing Ngan took a shot from the left that was easily collected by the goalkeeper, and Yiu On Tai's shot, after receiving a cross from Chan Wai Chung, also failed to hit the target.

In the end, Hoi King managed to maintain their lead until the final whistle, securing a 2:0 victory over BC Rangers and bagging three points. This triumph saw them clinch the third place in this season's Jockey Club Women's Football League (2nd Division).
