RCFC met Sham Shui Po at Tsing Yi Sports Ground on Sun afternoon for the BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League fixture of the day. RCFC drew Sham Shui Po by 0:0.

Right off the opening whistle, Sham Shui Po seized an opportunity. Chen Hao capitalized on a long pass into the penalty box, unleashing a right-footed attempt that the goalkeeper, after a momentary slip, successfully controlled.

Two minutes into the game, Resources Capital retaliated with an attack. Ho Sze Chit delivered a cross from the left flank, but Lee Yoonkwon's shot veered just wide of the post.

At the 22 minute mark, it was Shan Shui Po’s turn. Song Juho connected with a free-kick delivery from a teammate, heading towards the net, only to be caught by the goalkeeper.

At the 33-minute mark, the tide turned as Sham Shui Po launched an offensive. Kiranbir Singh, receiving Dunga's pass, fired a long-range shot that unfortunately missed the target.

Three minutes later, Resources Capital came close to breaking the deadlock. Cheng King Ho skillfully danced through two opponents on the left and delivered a pass to the goalmouth, but Lam Lok Yin Jerry's close-range attempt was again denied by the goalkeeper. The first half concluded with the teams locked at 0:0.

The second half saw Sham Shui Po ramp up their offence. At the 51-minute mark, Nicholas dispatched a cross from the left, but the unmarked Ngan Cheuk Pan failed to trouble the goalkeeper with his shot.

At 66 minutes, Resources Capital mounted another attack. Lee Yoonkwon, receiving a pass from Chiu Wan Chun, took a shot from the right, but it narrowly missed the mark.

Despite Resources Capital dominating possession in the latter stages of the match, they struggled to penetrate Sham Shui Po's steadfast defence and failed to create substantial shooting opportunities.
