Kitchee clashed with Rangers at Mong Kok Stadium, coming out on top with an impressive 2-0 victory.Charlie Scott and Jantscher Jakob were the heroes of the match, as they each scored a goal to secure the win for Kitchee.

Kitchee took control of the game after the opening whistle and created several scoring chances. It was Charlie Scott who made the breakthrough on the 7th minute with a clinical left-footed strike from distance into the corner of the net.Three minutes later, Charlie Scott took a shot from the edge of the penalty area, and the ball landed at the feet of Junior Walter in front of the goal, who quickly struck it into the net. However, after a VAR review, the goal was deemed invalid due to an offside position by Junior Walter.

Despite Kitchee's dominance, Rangers tried to mount a comeback. On the 18th minute, Yumemi Kanda cut insdie from the left and unleashed a powerful shot towards the center, only to be denied by the goalkeeper with a brilliant save. Ibrahim followed up with a close-range effort that sailed over the crossbar.On the 32nd minute, Lam Ka Wai executed a clever lob-pass, setting up Lau Chi Lok for a shot that narrowly missed the target.

Two minutes later, Gerbig Benjamin committed a foul on Yumemi Kanda inside the penalty area, resulting in the referee pointing to the spot for a penalty kick. It was then BC Rangers’ turn to launch a counterattack. Ibrahim picked up a long pass from Lau Chi Lok and made a darting run into the penalty area, but unfortunately, he was unable to get a shot off due to the relentless pressure from the defender.

Kitchee extended their lead on the 62nd minute,Jantscher Jakob delivered a pinpoint right-footed free-kick into the penalty area, and the ball took a bounce off the ground before finding the back of the net, making it 2:0 for Kitchee. BC Rangers brought in Giovane and Lai Pui Kei to bolster their attacking prowess later. It was on the 66th minute when Giovane connected with a corner kick and headed the ball towards the far post, but unfortunately, Fernando's shot in close-range with full stretch went over the crossbar.
