Lee Man and Resources Capital clashed heads in Tsing Yi Sports Ground for the BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League fixture.Lee Man began their race for the league title with a good start as they beat Resources Capital 3:1.
Lee Man started the game strongly, with Everton taking an early shot from outside the box that was saved by the goalkeeper. Resources Capital also had a chance with a long-range shot from Chrestian Bradie that went just wide. On the 27th minute, Simionato Paulo Sergio received a pass in front of the goal, but his shot was blocked by the goalkeeper.
On the 32nd minute, Lee Man took the lead with a fantastic goal by Everton. The striker connected with a pass from Mitchel Paulissen and took a precise left-footed shot that hit the far post and went into the back of the net, putting Lee Man ahead 1-0. Just four minutes later, Henri Anier doubled Lee Man's lead with a stunning goal. He picked up a long pass, dribbled past the defenders, and unleashed a powerful shot into the bottom corner of the net, making it 2-0 for Lee Man.
on the 41st minute, Lee Man came again to produce another scoring chance.Everton cut inside from the right to unleash a powerful shot, only to be denied by the goalkeeper's acrobatic save. Nonetheless, Lee Man was able to successfully extend their lead just before half-time. Everton made a run down the right flank and fired a shot towards goal,the goalkeeper did well to psuh away abut he couldn’t stop Simionato Paulo Sergio’s rebound shot,Lee Man was enjoying a comfortable 3:0 lead at the halftime.
Resources Capital came out strong in the second half, looking to mount a comeback after falling behind 3-0 to Lee Man in the first half. Their efforts paid off when Yuen Sai Kit received a long pass and was fouled in the box, resulting in a penalty kick. Ribeiro Caique stepped up and scored, pulling one back for Resources Capital.
Despite a valiant effort from Resources Capital,Lee Man maintained control of the game.On the 53rd minute,Henri Anier took a shot from outside the box, but the defender managed to deflect the ball onto Luis Eduardo's head,but the goalkeeper made a spectacular save to deny his's header, keeping the scoreline unchanged. The pace of the game slowed down afterwards, with both teams struggling to create more scoring chances. On the 80th minute, Tachibana Ryoya's terrible throw-in pass sent the opponent Moon Chi Sung into the box,the Korean midfielder ran pass the goalkeeper and passed to the unmarked Ribeiro Caique,but the latter’s two attempts in close-range were both blocked by defender.The 3:1 score stood all the way towards the final whistle,as Lee Man defeated Resources Capital and claimed all three points.
