Crownity North District started the game strongly as they almost scored a goal in just 3 minutes,Matheus Porto Silva picked up a long ball from teammate and pulled the trigger inside the box but the goalkeeper did well to handle it. Matheus Porto Silva who was a constant threat throughout the game unleashed a powerful low drive in front of the box on the 30th minute,only to see his effort just gone wide.Crownity North District came close again on the 39th minute,Matheus Porto Silva connected with Lo Kong Wai's head pass and fired a powerful shot,but the RCFC goalkeeper reacted well to tip over his effort. As a result, both sides ended the first half with a 0-0 scoreline.
Both teams started the second half more aggressive and produced numerous scoring chances.On the 49th minute, Matheus Porto Silva connected with Cheung Chun Hin Marco's right cross but his header went over the bar. It was RCFC's turn on the 65th minute,Moon Chi Sing reacted quickest to the loose ball and fired a volley attempt from distance,but his effort was just missed the target.
RCFC finally opened the scoring on the 68th minute,the Crownity North District goalkeeper could only parry a shot from Ho Sze Chit Gabriel and Ribeiro Caique rebounded the ball,RCFC was up 1:0.
Crownity North District tried to mount a comeback but Lam Lok Kan Jordan’s effort and Yip Cheuk Man's header were both missed the target.Their effort finally paid off on the 89th minute,as Naveed's pass found the unmarked Matheus Porto Silva inside the box,the latter fired the ball home into the top corner and tied the game 1:1.Crownity North District produced another golden chance in the additional time,but Matheus Porto Silva’s close-range rebound shot wnet over the crossbar.
The score stood all the way towards the final whistle,as the match ended in a 1-1 draw, with each team earning one point.
