The Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA) is pleased to announce the launch of its “Jockey Club Youth Football Development Programme – Training Scheme 2023-24”, which is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust as its Major Partner, and subvented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
The programme provides a well-organised football training platform for youth between the ages of 4 to 17 with basic footballing skills. It aims to nurture youngsters’ interest in football, and cultivate the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork. The programme also provides continuous formal football training to players who show potential. Outstanding players will be selected by the Football Association of Hong Kong, China to participate in a regional youth team, with the chance to be promoted to a representative team.
The programme is now open for application and selection sessions will start in July. Interested youths can apply through the following channels:
