Yuen Long took on Sha Tin for the Jockey Club Youth Football League (U16-League A) fixture. Yuen Long beat Sha Tin 1:0 with an early goal from Lee Ho Lim to claim all three points.

Yuen Long got off to a flying start in just three minutes after the opening whistle, Lee Ho Lim scored by a powerful shot and Yuen Long was up 1:0. Both sides failed to produce significant scoring chances afterwards but Yuen Long started to gain more possession in the middle of the first half. In the 14th minute, Yau Tsz Yin tried his luck at the right edge of the box but failed to find the target. Three minutes later, Lee Ho Lim had a chance to expand their lead, but he couldn’t generate enough power on his shot, the Sha Tin goalkeeper saved it with ease.

In the second half, although Sha Tin tried hard to draw level, their effort didn’t turn into scoring chances, and Yuen Long was the side who came close to score. On the 45 minute, Mohammad Moiz Anwar’s long-range shot was saved by goalkeeper. 6 minutes later, Wong Shing Him was the first to the loose ball and fired a volley shot towards Sha Tin’s goal, only to see the goalkeeper did well to save it again.

The score remained unchanged all the way through the final whistle, as Yuen Long beat Sha Tin through a 1:0 victory and claimed all three points.
