Lee Man generated the first solid scoring chance of the game in the opening minutes, yet Everton Camargo’s free-kick sailed over the RCFC crossbar.

Lee Man continued to heap pressure towards the RCFC goal. On the 16th minute, a beautiful one-two between Givanilton Martins and Everton Camargo saw the former finished things off with a sweet strike. However, RCFC goalkeeper Lam Chun-kit stood tall on the occasion and flashed out a super save to defuse the danger.

On the 28th minute, it was RCFC’s turn to attack. Pablo Gallego drove a long range shot towards the Lee Man goal, yet goalkeeper Chan Ka-ho proved equal to the task and paved the ball away.

On the other end, Lee Man almost broke the game open. Jonatan Acosta’s long pass sprung teammate Givanilton Martins loose. The latter belted an opportunistic strike but could not hit the target with his effort.

Late in the first half, RCFC almost snuck in front. Pablo Gallego’s free-kick looked set to enter the Lee Man net, only to be denied by a flying save from goalkeeper Chan Ka-ho at the last moment.

The first half finished with both sides tied scoreless.

RCFC had a decent chance to pull in front on the 57th minute, as Robert Odu’s header was smartly saved by Chan Ka-ho in the Lee Man goal.

Lee Man finally broke the game open on the 63rd minute. Yuto Nakamura’s shot was charged away by an RCFC player. Givanilton Martins gained control of the loose ball, then duly fired it home, putting the visitors in front 1:0.

The visitors doubled its lead a few minutes later. On the 67th minute, the referee spotted an RCFC player committed a foul inside his own box and duly awarded Lee Man a penalty-shot. Everton Camargo assumed the spot-kick duty and drove the ball home. It was now 2:0 for Lee Man.

Lee Man kept the onslaught going and netted another goal. On the 75th minute, Givanilton Martins’ shot was charged away by an RCFC player. The Lee Man attacker buried his own rebound and made it 3:0 for Lee Man. The visitors have taken control of the match by this point.

Late in the game, RCFC’s Tsang Chung-nam picked up his second yellow card of the game, thus his marching order. RCFC was down to ten men.

Deep in stoppage time, Lee Man’s Tsui Wang-kit belted a well-taken free-kick straight into the RCFC goal. The visitors were now cruising home with a 4:0 lead.

The score stood towards the final whistle, as Lee Man eventually secured a 4:0 victory over RCFC away from home.
