Kitchee U18 entertained South China U18 in Shek Kip Mei Park on Friday evening for the Hong Kong Premier Youth League U18 (Championship Group) fixture. Dai Tsz Hin Marcus scored twice in the first half led Kitchee U18 past South China U18 through a 4:0 victory.

Kitchee U18 gained control of the game after the opening whistle and went knocking on the South China U18 door. On the 7th minute, Leung Yat connected with a teammate's pass but his effort was denied by the crossbar. Kitchee U18 provided numbers of chance after that but headers from Dai Tsz Hin Marcus, Tsang Chun Hin and Matthew Luke Slattery failed to find the target.

On the 28th minute, Kitchee U18 duly broke the game open. Matthew Luke Slattery picked out teammate with a fine pass, the latter took down the ball nicely and blasted it home. Kitchee U18 was up 1:0. Just one minute later, Kitchee U18 added another goal. It was Dai Tsz Hin Marcus again who connected with Matthew Luke Slattery's centering pass and fired the ball home, putting Kitchee U18 in front 2:0.

Kitchee U18 had another scoring chance on the 41st minute, but Chan Pak Yin's powerful free-kick was denied by the crossbar.

It was still Kitchee U18 that produced the better scoring chances in the second half. On the 47th minute, Tsang Chun Hin connected with a sweet cross from Yuen Chun Him but failed to hit the target with his effort. South China U18 came up with a rare chance on the 57minute, Yip Lai To found himself unmarked in the box but headed the ball over the bar.

Kitchee U18 almost added its lead two minutes later, Leung Yat won a penalty for the team, but he sent the spot-kick over the crossbar.

Kitchee U18 was not done on the day and added two more goals afterwards. On the 85th minute Lau Yu Ho picked up a fine pass from teammate and smashed it home. Just one minute before the final whistle, Lee Tsz Him Marcus' header converted a corner-delivery from teammate into score. Kitchee U18 earned a commanding victory over South China U18 by 4:0 and claimed all three points.
