In the Jockey Club Women's Futsal League, Shatin cruised to a commanding 4:0 victory over Tuen Mun at Tai Wai Soccer Pitch on Thursday night (November 20th).

Sha Tin seized control from the opening whistle, with WONG Wai Yin finding the back of the net inside the first minute with a thunderous strike following a swift counter-attack, giving her side an early 1:0 advantage. Shatin continued to pile on the pressure, as MA Hiu Wai Nick and CHAN Wing Sze both tested the opposition defence with dangerous runs into the box, though neither could convert their chances. CHAN Wing Sze would not be denied, however, unleashing a stunning long-range effort from midfield in the 9th minute to double Sha Tin's lead.

Tuen Mun enjoyed a brief spell of dominance in the middle period of the match. CHUNG Pui Man came agonizingly close from a set piece, rattling the woodwork with her attempt. Moments later, CHUNG Pui Man won possession in the middle of the park and sparked a promising counter, threading a pass through to KOH Hui Hui Elizabeth in the area, but the striker's effort was snuffed out by a resolute Shatin defence. On the stroke of halftime, CHAN Wing Sze raced through on goal and rifled home a clinical finish to put Shatin three goals to the good.

After the restart, Tuen Mun regrouped and looked more compact defensively. CHENG Hoi Ying was pulling the strings in attack, creating numerous openings, but wayward finishing let Tuen Mun down time and again. CHENG Hoi Ying herself tested the Shatin shot-stopper with a mazy solo run and strike from inside the box. The away side built momentum with a series of dangerous moves, as CHENG Hoi Ying slipped a clever ball through for FAN Lee Wai, only to see the goalkeeper equal to the task once more.

Shatin wrapped up the three points in the 35th minute when CHEUNG Tsz Ching played a delightful through ball for YAU Lok Yin, who made no mistake from close range to complete the rout at 4:0. Tuen Mun refused to throw in the towel, launching wave after wave of attacks in the dying stages. WONG Sze Wai peppered the goal with a flurry of attempts that kept the goalkeeper on her toes, but Tuen Mun were unable to find a consolation goal as Shatin held firm to claim a comprehensive 4:0 triumph.
