The match kicked off with Kitchee seizing the first opportunity. In the second minute, a pinpoint pass from Tsui Long found the unmarked Yeung Cheuk Kwan, who unfortunately skewed his shot when one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

EnGenius Kowloon City soon gained the upper hand, with Liu Yik Shing snatching the ball from his opponent and unleashing a fierce shot that rebounded off the post. In the 6th minute, EnGenius Kowloon City took the lead. Liu Yik Shing put on a dazzling solo display on the left flank, shaking off two defenders and firing a narrow-angled shot into the far post to take the score to 1:0.

Kitchee responded with increased intensity in their attack. Nevertheless, close-ranged efforts from Tsui Long, a free-kick from Cheng Chin Lung, and a powerful strike from Yeung Cheuk Kwan were all denied by the agile goalkeeper, Tam Ching Him Aries.

The breakthrough for Kitchee came in the 16th minute. Cheng Chin Lung made a blistering run down the left flank and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot to level the score at 1:1.

Kitchee maintained their offensive pressure towards the end of the first half. Cheng Chin Lung attempted a long-ranged shot after connecting with Yeung Cheuk Kwan's pass, but it was parried by the goalkeeper. Subsequently, Li Siu Hin found himself in a promising position after receiving a clever pass from Cheng Chin Lung, but his shot went off target.

In the second half, Kitchee continued to dictate the pace of the game. They took the lead in the 24th minute when Yeung Cheuk Kwan's long-range strike found the top corner, making it 2:1.

Kitchee extended their lead two minutes later. Li Siu Hin delivered an accurate cross from the left, and Yeung Cheuk Kwan hammered home to make it 3:1.

Undeterred, EnGenius Kowloon City narrowed the deficit in the 28th minute. Liu Yik Shing broke free from his markers on the left and fired a powerful shot into the far post to make it 2:3.

However, Kitchee quickly reasserted their dominance. Cheng Chin Lung provided a deft pass from the right, setting up Yeung Cheuk Kwan for an easy tap-in to make it 4:2.

Kitchee kept pushing for more goals. Although Kam Chi Kin Jason and Li Siu Hin missed subsequent one-on-one opportunities, Li Siu Hin eventually found the back of the net in the 35th minute, evading the goalkeeper and slotting the ball home to make it 5:2.

In the final moments of the game, Yeung Cheuk Kwan and Lau Yu Ho added two more goals for Kitchee FC, culminating in a 7:2 victory over EnGenius Kowloon City. With this decisive win, Kitchee clinched the Jockey Club Futsal League - Division 3 champions.
