Riding high on morale, Soar Double Flower dictated the game's tempo. At the 60-minute mark, Chiem Natalie Ngoch's shot from the left wing just missed, and two minutes later, Chan Tsz Ching's effort after connecting with a free-kick delivery also narrowly veered off target. In the 63rd minute, On Fire were presented with a golden opportunity when Chu Ling Ling's thunderous free-kick from 25 yards was denied by the crossbar. Soar Double Flower mounted another attack at the 70th minute, with Chan Sin Hung's powerful shot from outside the penalty box ricocheting off the post.

The 81st minute saw Soar Double Flower almost doubling their lead. Robyn Anne Newby whipped in a cross from the right, and after On Fire’s defense failed to clear, Chan Tsz Ching's close-range effort skewed just wide. In the closing stages of the match, On Fire made a desperate bid to claw back, but Yeung Hiu Yan's long-range attempt failed to test the goalkeeper.

When the final whistle sounded, Soar Double Flower emerged triumphant with a 1:0 victory over On Fire, bagging all three points and securing their position as the second place team in this season's Jockey Club Women's Football League (3rd Division).
