Lee Man met up with RCFC in Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground on Sunday afternoon for the 2023-24 Boc Life Hong Kong Premier League clash. Lee Man beat RCFC by 4:1.

The first half of the match witnessed a cautious approach from both teams, with few opportunities to strike at goal. In the 13th minute, Lee Man's Tsui Wang Kit delivered a cross from the left, which Martins Givanilton headed the ball home at the far post. However, following a VAR review, the referee disallowed the goal due to a foul committed by Tsui Wang Kit prior to the pass. Despite Lee Man's dominance in possession, Resources Capital's robust defence kept them at bay, limiting their chances at goal. Just before half-time, Henri Anier's cross met Everton Camargo's volley, only to be superbly saved by Pong Cheuk Hei, leaving the score level at 0:0 at the break.

The second half saw both teams intensify their attacking initiatives. Lee Man's Simionato Paulo Sergio met a cross from Everton Camargo with a header in the 60th minute, but was thwarted by the crossbar. Resources Capital turned the tables five minutes later when Kim Hyunho made a bold move, launching a sudden strike from mid-field. The ball soared over the goalkeeper and found the back of the net, giving Resources Capital a 1:0 lead in the match.

But Resources Capital’s advantage was short-lived as Lee Man quickly equalised two minutes later, courtesy of a powerful header from Simionato Paulo Sergio off a corner by Chang Hei Yin, making it 1:1. Lee Man seized the lead in the 71st minute through another corner, as Tsui Wang Kit's unmarked header found its mark. At the 80th minute, Lee Man was awarded a penalty after Kim Sang Woo handled Simionato Paulo Sergio's cross in the box, but Everton's attempt ricocheted off the crossbar. Simionato Paulo Sergio eventually solidified Lee Man's lead in the 85th minute, scoring off a corner from Chang Hei Yin, and netting his brace to make it 3:1.

Lee Man decisively locked down the game at the 89th minute. A strategic pass from Mitchel Paulissen found its way into the penalty box, where Simionato Paulo Sergio skilfully evaded the defender, unleashing a right-footed strike that found its target in the far post. This marked his spectacular hat-trick and widened the gap for Lee Man, taking the scoreline to a commanding 4:1.

In the end, Lee Man maintained a 4:1 victory until the end, defeating Resources Capital to take all three points and continue to top the league table.
