In a Hong Kong Premier League match held at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground,Hong Kong Football Club edged past Shan Shui Po with a 1-0 victory. Johns Dominic Sy's first-half goal secured all three points for Hong Kong Football Club, marking their first victory of the season.

Sham Shui Po produced their first chance in just two minutes,Panupong Wongpila sent the ball towards the far post by a clever back-foot strike,Jordan Brown’s clearance delfected off Chang Kwong Yin and went out for a corner.

It’s Hong Kong football club’s turn on the 3rd minute,Johns Dominic Sy made a surging run down the right flank and knocked the ball to Wan Emmet Chun,then he found Leonardo Jose Peres inside the box with a lovely pass,not to see his effort gone wide.

Just 2 minutes later, Nicolas Benavides Medeiros stepped up to take a free kick from 30 yards in the middle. With a left-footed thunderbolt, he aimed for the goal, but Frederick Tommer made a spectacular diving save to deny him the glory.

Hong Kong Football Club finally broke the deadlock on the 16th minute,Christopher Fray set off an amazing run down the right flank and knocked the ball to the middle after evading past his marker,Johns Dominic Sy took care of the rest by a calmly shot into the far post,giving his team a 1:0 lead.

As the game entered stoppage time, Frederick Toomer stepped up to save his team by a spectacular diving save against Narh’s header.While Thiago Lima Da Silver’s close-range shot was cleared off the line by Tang Tsz Kwan.
