Kitchee hosted HKFC in Mongkok Stadium on Sunday afternoon for the BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League clash. At the end, Kitchee beating HKFC by 8:0.

Kim Shinwook’s brilliant hat-trick and Igor Sartori superb effort helped lift Kitchee top of the league table after an impressive 8:0 victory over Hong Kong Football Club.

Kitchee started the game aggressively and scored the first goal on the 14th minute. Igor Sartori received a through pass from Mikael and sent a cross from the right flank. Kim Shinwook tapped the ball into the net, giving Kitchee a 1-0 lead.Kitchee doubled their lead just two minutes later, with a clinical finish from Tan Chun Lok inside the penalty,following a clever pass from Igor Sartori.

Kitchee continued to threaten their opponents with their dynamic wing play, and on the 21st minute, Ruslan Mingazov's cross from the left flank found Kim Shinwook who headed the ball into the net, making it 3-0. The South Korean striker completed his hat-trick three minutes later, converting a penalty kick that was awarded after Igor Sartori was fouled inside the penalty area.

Kitchee was not stopped yet and kept knocking on Hong Kong Football Club’s door.The onslaught continued with Igor Sartori breaking through on the right and passing to the unmarked Ruslan Mingazov, who scored with ease to make it 5-0 on the 27th minute. Mikael extended the lead with a goal on the 30th minute, finishing off a cross from Oliver Benjamin Gerbig from the right.

Although Hong Kong FC had a chance to score before halftime,Maddox Kong’s narrow-angle effort was blocked by the goalkeeper. The first half ended with Kitchee leading 6-0.

Kitchee maintained their dominance in the second half of the game.On the 54th minute, Walter Junior delivered a cross from the left flank, which found an unmarked Igor Sartori lurking near the far post. The Brazilian forward headed the ball into the net, extending Kitchee's lead to 7-0.

On the 73rd minute, a lovely pass from Cheng Chin Lung found Poon Pui Hin on the right flank, who delivered a cross into the middle. The ball was deflected by a defender and ended up in the back of the net, scoring the eighth goal for Kitchee.

Kitchee had several opportunities to increase their lead after dominating Hong Kong Football Club in an 8-0 victory. On the 81st minute, a close-range shot by Kim Shin-wook was blocked by the substitute goalkeeper,Ngue Olivier, and shortly after Cheng Chin-lung's close-range shot was saved by a defender guarding the empty goal. The 8:0 score stood all the way towards the final whistle,as Kitchee cruised past Hong Kong Football Club and claimed all three points.
