Halewinner is a Hong Kong based retailer of high-end watch products. We are confident that we can help to promote the Halewinner brand to our many supporters and followers of football in Hong Kong. It’s also great news for the HKFA and especially so soon after our exciting win at the weekend against the Guangdong Province”.

"Besides contributing to the local football scene, Halewinner also wishes to generate additional public awareness for our brand via sponsoring this year's League Cup," Mr. Peter Leung, Managing Director of Halewinner Limited revealed the reasoning behind the sponsorship deal. "We believe this sponsorship deal will present Halewinner with tremendous promotional effects and we look forward to additional opportunities to work with the HKFA in the near future."

1.  Background to Halewinner—Founded in 1988, Halewinner Watches Group started its retail business selling and marketing high-end watches, writing instruments, lighters, and costume jewelries.  For more than 20 years of development in the industry, Halewinner Watches Group now becomes one of the most prominent watch retailers authorized to sell more than thirty brands of high quality Swiss-made timepieces.  The Group’s vision is to offer the best custom-made services to customers and to provide a comfortable environment for customers’ enjoyment in selecting their favorite timepieces.

2.  Format of the 2011/2012 Halewinner League Cup—this season’s competition will be played under a single-match knock-out format. The full match will be played in 90 minutes with two 45-minutes halves. If the match remains tied after 90 minutes, two 15-minutes extra time halves will be played.
