2023-24 Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards – Notes on Public Voting

Before you vote, please read the following "Declaration", "Voting Rules and Procedures" and " Personal Data Usage Policy " in details.

Declaration

The Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards Organiser reserves the right to revise the election rules, nominate other athletes and make the final decision on the election results. In the event of any disputes, the Organiser reserves the right of final decision.

Voting rules and procedures

  1. Please select no more than 11 top footballers, 2 young players, 1 coach  and 1 HKRT player from the shortlist. If more candidates than the specified number are selected, the vote will be invalidated. 
  2. Each person is only allowed to vote once and is required to provide his/her name and ID number. Otherwise, the vote will be disqualified.
  3. Online voting will start at 11am on 2 May, 2024 and end at 11:59pm on 26 May, 2024.
  4. The ID number provided by you will be destroyed within three months after the election.
  5. The results of the election will be announced and awarded at the 2023-24 Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards Prize Presentation Ceremony to be held on 28 May, 2024. For the results, please refer to the official website of the Association(www.hkfa.com).
  6. For "Hong Kong Top Footballers", "Young Players of the Year", "Coach of the Year" and “Best HKRT Player in HKPL”, public voting will account for 40% of the total score. In addition, the player who receives the most votes in the public voting will become "Fans’ Favourite".
  7. Other voting components account for the following proportions: HKPL Head Coach & Captain: 20%; Media: 20%; Judging Panel: 20%. Please refer to the HKFA news for the details of the proportion and criteria to be nominated.

Personal Data Usage Policy

At the Football Association of Hong Kong, China Limited, we respect and prioritise the protection of your personal privacy. Therefore, we will not disclose your personal information, along with other legally protected data, without your prior consent, except when required by law or relevant government authorities. We may also disclose your personal data in situations where it is necessary for the smooth operation of the voting service, to safeguard the rights of voters or the Association, to enable effective voting, or to provide you with other services in collaboration with our affiliated companies or partners.
