Mr. Mark Sutcliffe, Chief Executive Officer, The Hong Kong Football Association

“The HKFA is once again proud to organize the 2015 Summer Football Programme and is grateful for the support of our partners, LCSD and the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Without their support we would not be able to provide all of these opportunities for young aspiring footballers. We have introduced some changes to this year’s event that we hope will improve the programme and create a better link with some of our other activities. Young people are the future of Hong Kong football and it is important that everyone has a chance to learn the basic technical skills and personal characteristics required of a footballer. Good luck to all the participants. I hope they have a fantastic experience.”

Mr. Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges JP, Chief Executive Officer, The Hong Kong Jockey Club

“Going forward, the Club will continue to support football development in Hong Kong.  We wanted to develop youth footballing skills, and also to use football to build their strength of character through participation in team sport,” he added. “Through promoting ‘Sports for Hope’, one of the Trust’s three areas of strategic focus over the next few years, we would like to use sports to create lifelong positive values and hope in Hong Kong society.”
