Participants must be Age 18 or above. They can be beginner coaches, school teachers/activity organizers , social workers and others who work with children
Course contents include grassroots philosophy, organizing fun and safe football activities. Upon completion, students will have basic knowledge of junior football development. Participants can also apply Youth Leader [Level 2] Certificate Course during enrolment.
Assessment
No accreditation. The certificate will be issued for participants after finishing the assignments.
This course will cover more methodology in organizing football activities. Participants who passed the assessment and completed the coaching practice will have chance to assist organizing HKFA’s junior football activities.
*The qualification of this Certificate is equivalent to the pervious "Youth Football Leader Certificate".
Assessment
1. One theory examination (1 hour)
2. One practical assessment for each participant (10 minutes)
Coaching Practice
A certificate will be issued to participants who passed the assessment and completed at least 24 hours of coaching practices.
1. Registered Youth Football Leaders; or
2. Participants completed “Pre-D” License Course; or
3. Members of Hong Kong Football Men’s/Women’s Representative Team; or
4. Professional players who are/were registered for 1st Division Football League
Service group
1. Organize football training for youths under 15 years old.
2. Assist in club administrative work for youth and grassroots training.
1. One theory examination (2 hours)
2. One examination on “Laws of the Game” (1 hour)
3. Two coaching practices for each participant (Not more than 15 minutes each time)
4. Overall performance
Coaching Practice
A certificate will be issued to participants who passed the assessment and completed at least 30 hours of coaching practices
1. Registered “D” License coaches; and
2. Possess good football skills
3. No age restrictions.
Service group
1. Organize football training for youths 18 years of age and under.
2. Assist the club coaching and administrative works for youth
3. Participate in district football development.
1. Two theory examinations (2 hours each)
2. Three coaching practices for each participant (15 minutes each)
Coaching Practice
According to the latest guidelines of the AFC, a certificate will be issued to participants who passed the assessment and completed at least 60 hours of coaching practices
1. Two theory examinations (2 hours each)
2. One oral presentation for each participant (10 minutes)
3. Three coaching practices for each participant (20 minutes each )
Coaching Practice
According to the latest guidelines of the AFC, a certificate will be issued to participants who passed the assessment and completed at least 80 hours of coaching practices
2. Possess good football skills; and
3. Extended experience in coaching; and
4. Registered “B” License coaches
Service group
1. 1st Division professional football clubs
2. Hong Kong Representative Team at different levels
3. Organization and training for different district teams and clubs
1. Two theory examinations (2 hours each)
2. One oral teaching each participant (15 minutes)
3. Three coaching practices for each participant (30 minutes each)
Coaching Practice
